The NC Community College System awarded
$20,000 to Piedmont Community College's Adult Basic Skills
Program for the development of a GED Plus curriculum
during 2010. The curriculum includes three components:
reading/writing; math; college survival skills. A course
outline and the curriculum for each subject is offered. The
curriculum prepares GED level students for college entry
